1960s White Bridal Wedding Cap wwith 56" Veil, Floral Lace Appliques

This vintage bridal cap with illusion veil is simply lovely! Shaped somewhat like a wide headband, the bridal cap beautifully frames the face but does not fit over the back part of the head. The flexible wire frame of the cap is covered in a stiff sheer netting, sheer veil overlay, and gorgeous lace appliques. The cap curves around gently at the front to a flattering "V" point at the top center, with shimmery appliques strategically placed on the cap to conceal the wire framing, while allowing transparency in-between for a light, whimsical look. The veil of sheer illusion netting measures 56" from the cap front to the center back hem. From the cap to the fingertip length, a repeat of the cap's appliques of daisy-like floral and ladder-style swirls adorns the veil about 3" inside the pencil-edge hem. The lower half of the veil is trimmed along the hem edge with a repeat of the daisy-like garland applique.
